Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state and Chairman of Progressives Governors Forum has paid a condolence visit to Borno state on the death of 43 farmers murdered in cold blood by insurgents.
Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was together with the Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum Mr. Kayode Fayemi, the Deputy Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu WaziriTambuwal and the Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello.
The governors expressed shock and deep sympathy to the government and people of Borno State on the horrendous act by callous persons.
The governor of Ekiti State who spoke on their behalf extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and quick recovery to those who received injury praying to Allah to guard a recurrence and return to tranquility.
On his way to Sokoto Airport, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu made a stopover near WACOT Rice Mill Argungu during which he interacted with women in search of daily livelihood by putting to use, processed rice waste.
Out of delight, Senator Abubakar AtikuBagudu offered the women financial support to reinforcing their sustenance.
